Thats exactly what i did.

I asked a lad who was delivering the free rag in the area i was in and I was astounded as to what would do for £25 

That said, i didnt get anywork  I am sure he delivered them though.

Problem with free papers is they are already stuffed with leaflets and usually end up in the bin. Pay a little extra and have your leaflet delivered alone or with one other leaflet at most , never a bundle which is what the leaflet distributers prefer as they make more money.
And as  mentioned  many times before on this forum ,have them delivered early in week to keep away from free paper days as these clutter the passage and your leaflet gets lost amongst them.
Paying for cheap leaflet delivery can be false economy, that said up here in Newcastle i get mine done for £25.00 per thousand ( with one other leaflet only).
