Hello Kelly...I'm sure there are a lot of wives/girlfriends who 'lurk' on this site.  It certainly gives us an insight into the world our partners occupy and also an understanding as to what it is they actually do!  As such, we can then be yet another catalyst (like this forum) for developing the business (whether it be an actual hands-on role, like me, or merely  pastoral).  I'm sure a lot of wives/girlfriends are the driving force behind their husband's business....after all, if they can't make the money, we can't spend it!

I have posted before but don't have time to sit in front of a computer like my partner, had to spend more time in our main business, so no longer involved.

We have a house cleaning side however, which against my better judgement, I keep getting involved in, if only to make sure we are charging enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our main business is Care in the Community, which means we have a team of carers ( around 18 ) who call on people in there own homes and carry out tasks to enable them to continue living in their own homes, original plan was to sell after five years, but just started our 7 th year and hoping to sell soon.

Absolutely agree with you. I would like eventually for Jason to be earning enough to keep me in the life Im a customed to !!!. Joking aside we are both keen to work together, we are an excellent team so think if I learn more it can only be an asset to an already growing business for Jay. I admire his dedication and enthusiasim, it makes me want to be a part of it!. I studied for 3 years at Southampton Univeristy and achieved a first class honours business degree which is not being used at all at the moment so should grab the opportunity whilst the knowledge is still fresh in mind! Have used it a little but its difficult when im working full time for someone else!

I spend most of my working day in front of the computer, so the last thing I want to do is come home and do the same thing! But if I know Jay is focusing his attentions on making the business more lucrative (knock on effect me being able to buy those gucci shoes) I dont mind !! ha ha. I shall be carefully monitoring prices quoted from now on !

Had to come in and tell you this, She's taken them back (after the arguement) I'm now sleeping in outside play house but it's not as cold as in our house!

They were £230 !!
