I went today to Ashbys to see a Ninja 400Psi demonstration ,
and they showed me 2 of them one with int V2 steamer an one without.
Which one is better?
Do you really think that the steamer worth it? Is £450 extra.
Do you use steam on your Ninja?

Yes you do and I'd get the add on vac as well and anything else Martin suggests you buy.

Or you could save your money, it's up to you.

You have an inline heater that will practically boil the water for you if you want it to. Do you really need the steam? Perhaps I am being unfair but when I go in there and I feel like an indecisive butgullible double glazing buyer

But he said that the inline heater goes only to Up to 60ºC.
Built in 3 kw immersion heater 0-60ºC.

I would only go higher than that on low profile wool myself but my machine does anyway so perhaps it's worth it. Thing is, there are so many add ons you can buy but as a thread on here suggests it's more about your knowledge of how to use the tools you have to their best that counts the most. Pretreat & Agitation are the most important part of thye process in terms of results so get them right and you should always get good results.

If you don't know whether you need it and he's not giving you a VERY good deal to get it now, why not wait and see. If you feel it's necessary then you can get the external unit (which may be a better bet anyway)

When I went to see them I didn't know too much about this lark, and put my trust in them. Whilst I think they were fair there's stuff I got that I'll never use and let's face it they are in business to flog you stuff.

Didn't Cleaning company have his set up for sale recently? He's emmegrating and he has a internal v2 400psi in article for sale.

Hi Guys.
I got my ninja with built in steam mate makes for a neat package it will go to over 100deg if required .You do have the choice to turn it down with that and the built in emmersion lots of choice. I have just done a pub carpet the extra heat really made a differance tried first without then with brilliant. But until you try you dont know so you pay your money and make your choice.

Have you used that sort of heat on anything but wool (Was pub carpet wool). Just interested on result.

the immersion heater on the 400psi Ninjas is restricted to 60c purely because the high preasure pump can not cope with the heat, so they suggest you also have a v2 inline exchanger fitted as well so you can boost the temp up to 120c if needed

the only problem on the ninja is to heavy.

Hi Pete.
Pub carpet was an 80/20 really good results considering he was thinking of getting new we were both suprised as i had warned him not to expect to much. Used it on a trashed flat carpet max heat man made fibers again came up quite good considering. Good vac prespray aggitated with sebo lots of dwell lots of heat job done.

Well I wished I'd never wasted £3500 on a Ninja with all the extras. The solution and waste tanks are way way too small. The auto fill i never use coz another hose and fitting problems with custys tap is a pain. Theres no temp gauge. Theres no hour meter. The auoto drain i never use. And its soooooo bleeping heavy. Dont any anorak try and shoot me down in flames. Dont waste yr money. Go for an Alltec machine.
