Hi fella`s , just some advice here thanks for replies.Next week I have a new residential customer wanting all her windows doing plus the conservatory roof
Glass panels which look as if they are pexi glass.I don`t think they have ever been
Done before.There`s just a good coating of general grime and dust etc.,not much,
If any algae at all.I`m concerned about the possibility of scratching the plexi glass
With well,whatever I use.Whats the best way of tackling a job like this?

I think you'll find the plexi glass is probably already surface scratched or in early stages of perishing from the elements, it doubtfull that it is still crystal clear under the grime anyway. i would do it wfp with a flocked brush and some tfr. even though the roof may not seem too dirty using tfr means that only the lightest of brushing is needed.

Tony,do ya mean tfr and a water mix separate,wash,then pure water brush rinse
After to finish off,or pure water and tfr mixed up together ? If so,what ratio mix?

my tfr is a 20:1 ratio, (none caustic) so i mix this up into a garden sprayer & apply to con roof, leave 5/10 mins then brush off with wfp, if its a glass roof i use pure water, if its plastic i use tap water.

I did one last week,tfr mixed with water sprayed on left for 5mins and rinsed off and it came up spotless.Those plastic roof panels can also be called triplex,3 layers of plastic.

'Tucker' sell a 'plexiglass' brush if you ask them, ( it's a full trim not double trim).

TFR ..........traffic film remover  only use no caustic !!!! you can buy it from a car spare shop or from a car valeter
