No not that type! went to do an EOT today, the custy had one hour to spare and begged me to just do a quickie, so I pre sprayed and cleaned! That was it no pre vac and no aggitation. I was amazed, to be honest it didnt look any different than if I had followed normal procedure and she paid full price for half the time.

POWER TO THE SPLASH & DASH!

Dont worry this will not be my prefered method, but I was very pleased all the same.

Must be tempting for the T/M boys. You've got 6 jobs to do in a day and your presented with a lightly soiled synthetic.

You dont always have to prevac and agitate or even prespray.

You choose the tools and method for the carpet.  Its called experience.

Hi Mark,

Cleaned my first carpet in 1988 so I think I qualify as experienced, I do run a T/M but I always like to do the best job poss. I must admit though I dont always pre-vac. Its just compared to my normal standards this was splash & dash and it still looked good.

I think we've had this thread before. In my humble opinion, it's horses for courses. We all want the customer to phone us back or recommend us to their mates.

To be honest I prevac only when the carpet has visible debris. My TM seems to do a good job.

Is there a prespray that you don't have to agitate to get good results?

IMO to get the best results and quickest drying and litterally get an easier job done with less fatique I would say no. Even if you pile rake the carpet you will get the product to work better and impregnate into the fibres better.

I've tried always and I use a TM which has alot of pressure, flow amd heat but I still aggitate in one form or another.

I used pre spray gold. But this was my point why I was suprised at results.
