Seeing as though CFR (and their wacko supporters,) seem to think it's just fine and dandy to clean carpets with dirty water I am going to convert my ex-machine to the CFR system in order to increase its productivity. My little old CTD-572 has a mere 10 litres solution capacity and 10 litres waste capacity which basically means I have to change the water and empty it every 10/15 minutes or so.

However with my new super-duper CFR Pro 500 Perfect Heat I can justify cleaning the customers carpet with...... guess what..... yeah the dirt that I just sucked outta there in the first place. So bye bye solution tank in my CTD-572 and HELLO to a 125 micron suction strainer on the pump feed, which will now dangle into the waste tank and recycle the water.

Generally speaking, if someone supports a method or system, it's because they get the best out of it and have taken the time, made the effort, listened and learned.       
                                                                                                                                                     Whereas someone else who has purchased the same  system, that has been proven over 10 - 15 years and constantly moans or attempts to ridicule, or criticises said system, has clearly got problems, not with the system, but with himself and should perhaps consider if he is in the right industry !

Incidentally, someone has already converted a Ninja to recirculate, apparently with fantastic results.

Pity you did'nt think about it BEFORE you bought the CFR. Could have saved yourself a lot of money to spend on Microsplitters (that you need to purchase).

and did'nt you know the CFR recycled BEFORE you handed over your hard earned cash - thats what the CFR stands for.

all hwe method's clean carpets with dirty water, this is so because when the solution/water comes into contact with the dirty carpet, the water becomes dirty & then is extracted into a waste tank, cfr recycles the water & solution, the filteration system sorts out resoiling & because of the high psi & heating system this prevents overwetting which attributes to accelerated drying times. cfr chemicals & one step solutions are formulated to increase productivity because of the dilution rate.

If you have done your conversion your customers carpets will smell and you will have loads of complaints its not worth the risk.

Why did you buy the CFR in the first place?It seems that you've done your homework after you've parted with your cash!ouch

I would suggest you either take the time to understand how the machine and chemicals work or pass the machine on to somebody else.

IMO any attempt to modify equipment is hazardous insofar as the end performance is concerned, unless of course the result is entirely predicatable.  Shame if an unsuitable modification leads to a customer complaint or insurance claim !  I'm sure a good deal of work goes into the original design.  Of course modified equipment in general (not specially this example) might not continue to satisfy its 'CE' approval either - ouch !!

As you are obviously brainwashed by marketing I will explain it in simple terms - if you spilled a bucket of water on a carpet would a CFR machine pull out the water and leave the carpet to dry in less than an hour? Nope it wouldn't, so what makes you think that the water projected by a CFR goes as deep as spilled water would and then comes back out again, yet pre-sprayed or spilt water won't?

You know, I think the CFR500 would have as good chance of leaving dry.

I couldnt say a "coventional" machine would because I dont use a "conventional" one.  But I do use a CFR 500 and so I can speak freely.

When posts are negative and it's not clear from the dialogue what's going on in someones head, other than to cause argument, rather than learn from discussion, or gain from other peoples experience, there is nothing to be gained from continuing the dialogue .

j/b, i pity the person that calls you round to have there carpets cleaned, i bet they don't know what there letting themselves in for, you armed to the teeth with dish cloths! your a complete idiot!!!! clean n dry, don't let it get to you mate, i love the cfr system! over the years i've used the host system, bonnet, conventional hwe, in my opinion cfr cleaning system is by far superior, in deep cleaning, dry time & also you can tackle fibres & fabrics that you could'nt normally clean with conventional cleaning. i'm not knocking the other systems, they are all great & deserve there place in the cleaning feed chain, i use the bonnet system myself, alot.
