Hello, have recently gone over to the pure water reach and wash and want to make my own water with r/o for as little as possible, will have to use water in my own house and i live in hard water area, only need to fill 400ltrs a day at moment, any advice, hints about which system , cost , where from and how it works, and running costs would be great.

I would go for a 40x40 system, you will have no questions as to what is quicker etc etc it`s the quickest.2-4 pre filters a year a bag of resin which will give you 3 fills of you DI cannister in van,if you put RO water in your van from a 40x40 static system that is regularly flushed it should read 6-7ppm at most more like 2-3 really, buy the best at the start that`s what i`ve learnt don`t waste more money having to keep upgrading.Oh sorry it should cost about £100 a year to run your system on average.

I have a 4040 system and find that I'm spending about £10 a month on salt for the Water Softener as well. You will need one if you live in a hard water area.
The 4040 produces water faster than you can use it and at a very very low tds.
