Tommy

I use a soapy (wash-up liquid) cloth and then buff dry using a dry cloth and squirt of window spray.

S/Steel appliances are amongst my pet hate BUT you need to know what you are cleaning i.e. is it deffo s/steel OR is it a silver-painted finsih, or a plastic-protected finish etc.

I have heard that baby oil is good for buffing up 'true' stainless steel but i dont see how you could clean with it?

Cheers

Mr Muscle glass cleaner is great for stainless steel and chrome.

We use Asda tea towels. 19p each - bargain!

Astonish glass&tile cleaner is the only glass cleaner i ever evr buy as it is wonderful.

Alan, thanks for the 19p tea-towel tip, didnt know they did them so cheaply. I use face-cloths usually, if can find them i usually on pay £1 for 6.

The stainless steel cleaner sold by Solution Uk http://www.worldofclean.co.uk/index.php?categoryID=107 is the best we've used. Baby oil is good, but attracts fluff and hairs, not fused on astonish.

Cheers,

Huw.

Have used most of the above products with good success, but agree with seerclean, in that if it is a dusty enviroment, the baby oil attracts the dust and fluff.......lol

Thanks everyone.  I think the Asda tea towels is a great idea.  I've been using kitchen roll up until now.

Oven exteriors, extractor canopies, stainless or aluminium splash backs can all be cleaned with a couple of Ceiling Pro products. This will clean and degrease them, after that they should be left alone. Baby Oil will attract grime, WD40 is just plain dangerous. The Ceiling Pro solution is not available to individuals or companies however. To obtain these products you would need to become a dealer but email us at info@cpuksouthwest.co.uk if you'd like to learn more.

Are you going to send me lots of info on this fantastic wonder product them tell me I can't have it. What's the point, bet it's expensive as well, and probably oil based.
