are you sure its 1.5 bar... that equates to about 21 psi ....
If thats so get a booster pump.

The woman from Yorkshire water said their aim was 1.5 bar or 12 litres per min , I have checked flow at outside tap and it came out at 12 litres per min but tap in kitchen it was more like 20 litres per min, would 20 litres per min be ok.

If you are not sure the answer is probably yes. They are not dear to buy (£50ish), even cheaper is a pressure gauge (£10ish). The only way to know for sure is to try it. Start by buying a gauge. Round here pressure goes up and down like a brides nightie. Ro-man are good.

Ro-man do one for £77.50 (sorry its a bit more than £50, my memory was wrong)
get an electrical float switch from Varitech to cut the power when the tank is full.
At one time Ro-man had a pump that didn't like continuous running so you had to put it on a timer switch to give it a break every hour. I think that one was £50 so maybe they have changed pumps and that explains the price increase. By the way Varitech are on 01626 830830, they don't have a website.

If your only getting 1.5 Bar from your mains, how is a booster pump going to help? Does it use vacuum suction from the mains?
