Evening all,

hope you can help with two questions please

Got a new contract starting soon and the showroom floor is laid with vinyl tiles which a have a lovely shine I'm worried about spoiling that shine, what chemicals can be used to keep that?

Whats best to put on an oak floor to cleani it?

Try Arpal chemicals in Selkirk or Premier products both supply high gloss non slip finish products

You need to find out what -if anything- the tiles are treated with. I worked in a shop that had vinyl tiles that had NOTHING on them, the floor was just washed x2 a week with warm soapy water and then buffed with a red pad on a standard speed buffing machine. The shine had to be seen to be belived and like i say this was with no product.

High Speed buffer.

You can get standard, slow, high, ultra high. etc , all the same machine BUT when they are built they are made to work at a certain speed. The speed of the machine needs to be matched to the type of work that you do - thats as much as i can tell you as i can never recall what speed is best for wat as its not something i really need to know for the work i do.

Think the average HS is 400 then it jumps up to 1000 and above (defiantly not a side to side)
