Urgent Need Resin
« on: August 29, 2007, 08:43:21 pm »
Anyone know where I could pick up some DI Resin in or around Bolton area.

Need some for Tomorrow morning.

My water has gone t*ts up dont know why. 0.01 this morning now reading 70+ Last custy of the day rang me complaining windows were all spotty with sticky stuff :(

I can order online but wont get here till Friday. Have a full day to do tomorrow.

Q: There's a large Aquatic store near me, would this be the same type of resin they use for aquariums?

Any help desperate :(

Thanks
Wayne

As long as they sell mixed bed resin it will be OK or try knocking on the door of a local dentist as they use mixed bed resin beads. They might be willing to sell you some.

Plenty of suppliers around Dave, just that I need to pick some up in morning.

Thanks Alex

I'm very friendly with my Dentist and they are literally 5 doors down from me :)

Any idea what they use it for Alex?
Just so I can sound all knowledgeable when I call in :)

No, wouldn't touch that rubbish!!!!! :D

Yes I do, it's very good!

I use very little normally as my RO gets it down to 001 tds so I just have a small 250ml canister that lasts for ages. I do have an 11 litre pressure vessel with it in though as a back up in my vehicle.

I used Rohm and Haas last time. Is it down to price , longevity or just personnel preference?

Do you actually sell it to them or is it a different type they use

I'm no expert on Resin, but it does seem to last well compared to others that I have used.

We have been supplying this make for about 6 months now and have had very positive feedback from our customers about it. We also have regular purchasers from other industries apart from us WC'ers, so they seem to like it as well.
