'chic cleaning' sell an 'intelligent' battery charger (it's not cheap in comparison to a normal battery charger) but it won't damage or cook your batteries through overcharging.
I have one mounted in my van for topping up my batteries to a full state at week-ends despite relying on my split charge relay to charge my batteries daily in the van. I've had my 110 amp battery for at least 3 years now and it's going just as good today as it was on the first day I bought it. Touch wood it's never let me down

Hi
Thanks for all the replies. I got my backpack in August and have already gone though 3 batteries. I recon the charger is doing them no good at all. Will pop down to Argos tomorrow to pick one up.

Hi Wayne
I think it is about £55.00 plus VAT. The Argos one is only £30.00 with the added advantage of being able to collect it tomorrow. Will give the argos one a go first and see if it helps.
Thanks
David

Do you use it on 'fast charge' mode?
