but heres the instructions
OK here's a simple way of adding car nozzles to the brush head, saves  the drilling, sorry the pics are not that great,

first get a hold of some large cable clips


take the nail out and replace with screws


cable clip with screw



next place tube on nozzle, makes it easy pulling it through the cable clip.



next position cable clip, and screw in place



cable and nozzle screwed and secured in place

front view of positioned nozzles, now if you want, you can cut out a small check so the nozzle is bellow the plastic, but to be honest, it does not even touch the frames, hope this helps

i've had white upvc milk up in the past but not brown, i reckon now you have given the frames a scrub if you go back and do the glass you will get a good result

halfords sels them for about £3 the pair, they need to be twin nozzles, if you can get the swivel nozzles thats even better,
any make will do, thats a peter fogwills salmon brush i have,

ball swivel jets can be accuratly pointed in any direction, this way the water hits every angle of the glass,
i dont know the price of the brush, as i got it in a deal, with the autoswitch, i took it of and put it on my gaz brush lol

Some car jets will have the same effect as fan jets,go to a good scrap yard and try and get some Merc or BMW ones.

Sorry to sound thick... but you mean windscreen washer jets right?  Thats a brilliant idea! Will try that I think Do you keep the brush jets as well, or just switch the tubing to the overhead jets?

m.b.s, its taken me 2 or 3 cleans to get the windows on my house perfect. I hadn't done them trad for a good 6 months, so LOADS of muck had built up in the frames, which were recessed as well which didn't help. I found they finally came clean when I squashed the brush right into the top of the frame and scrubbed from side to side, then rinsed loads, making sure the jets were angled into the seal.

the brush nozzles are obcelete now, i put new tubing on the overhead washer car jets for a tight fit,

FIRST CLEAN OF DIRTY WINDOWS WITH WFP


glance at windows see if there is any bird muck if so give quick scrub and leave to soak

start on upstairs window clean frames until water flowing over them runs clear then clean glass now rinse frame and glass then brush excess water from cill repeat with all upstairs window now repeat with all downstairs(starting under first upstiars window because it should have stopped dipping by now). if brush has visible dirt caught in it take it (dirt) out with your hand your should always keep brush clean.

when above is complete the windows should have stopped dripping (depending on size of house) go back to first upstairs window you cleaned scrub glass only then rinse glass only then brush excess water from cill repeat on all upstairs windows now repeat on all downstairs windows(starting under first upstiars window because it should have stopped dipping by now).

NEXT TIME/MONTH (MAINTAINANCE CLEAN)

this time windows probably will not be too dirty just dust and possibly bird muck

glance at windows see if there is any bird muck if so give quick scrub and leave to soak

start on upstair brush frame and glass then rinse both repeat on all upstairs windows now repeat on all downstairs windows (starting under first upstiars window because it should have stopped dipping by now)

Just converted one of my brushes to windscreen washer jets. Verdict: Bloody Brilliant! Gonna have to convert all of them now. So much better than normal jets. Thanks for sharing that tip jouk45. Can't wait for your next idea.

m.b.s. have you seen this? A post on the (www.window-tools.com) forum called "A beginner's guide to wfp" by Jeff Brown. Excellent post containing lots of good advice. I am converting from trad to wfp gradually. One piece of advice from this post I have taken on board (and this may help you with your problem from your first post) is that I am cleaning all my houses one more time trad, paying special attention to the top frame. I know these will be very clean when I first wfp them next time, so hopefully avoiding any probs. Hope this helps.
