Help please with connections
« on: August 24, 2007, 07:55:37 pm »
Hi guys

i have taken note of someone elses idea but im stuck.

im gonna replace my 1/2 inch hose on my trolley with 6mm tube,

now the tricky bit....... i have removed the 1/2 inch and i am left with a female hozelock connector to the trolley, i know you can get male connectors with the 6mm male on the other end to take the 6mm tube. but if i put say 10 mtrs of tubing fitted to the trolley, i then need a female to female connector to attatch a male and 6mm to the 10mtr tubing themn a 6mm adapter to take the pole, is this possible and where can i get one from?

if ive lost you on this one ill appolgize in advance, but if you do understand and can help, thanks,

and before you say it, i dont want 10 mtrs on my pole to connect to the trolly, thought of that one already.

cheers
Haydn

will see if i cac explain better now . cut you hose on you trolley so you have enough left to connect your hose lock your hose lock screws tight onto your hose from your trolly . you then connect your 6mm hose on to the hose tail adaptor . guess what you just push this into the hose lock . easy let me no if this is better explained for you . better still go on windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk look under wfp accessories and view 1 then you will see what im getting at if you cant do it and you live near rotherham i will do it for you .

Hi mate,

I think this is what your after, go to http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/shop.html
you then need to click on,

Various hose fittings , barb, etc, then

In line hose menders, etc

You need the first item on that page, In line bore adapter 6mm - 1/2".
