John & Lynn Kelly at Restormate
« on: August 23, 2007, 06:34:05 pm »
Hi all

I just want to say a big thanks to John Kelly at Restormate in Killingworth, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. I took my hand tool in to be fixed and he sorted me out. A very big thanks!

I think the quality of service is excellent and the chemicals are very reasonably priced. Great service all round. Well done to a modern day cleaning hero!

John.

Whats the difference between the carpet cleaning section and the window cleaning section when it comes to suppliers advertising there products. In the window cleaning section its blatently obvious the constent advertising by certain suppliers including prices ect but on the carpet cleaning section its not allowed.I just think it should be the same rules for everybody.

Well said Darren. You beat me to a similar post  ;)

Ian, surely good service from a supplier is of benefit to forum members ?

Out of all the suppliers that come on these boards John Kelly is the only one i can think of that doesn't push the fact that he's a supplier.

He's forever trying to help people on here with unbiased advice

Hear Hear to that. Don't know restormate but will give them a try. Went to get a wand fixed at a well known place recently and by the time I left I needed a sweet cup of tea just to get over it. The thing I realised too was that the person giving the hard sell did'nt actually know what he was talking about which made him look even more stupid.

Ian see if you go onto the window cleaning forum there is plenty of posts from suppliers plugging there own products including price lists but if a supplier on this forum mentions his own products usually trying to help somebody he gets his wrists slapped and iam not just talking about John Kelly iam talking about in general.

I like Hidry(sp) from Hydramster at the moment but it's a toss up between liquid formula 90.

Paul are you not putting any comments on how Restormate are?
