faded colour on pic
«

anyone know of any product that puts the colour back onto pic . Just done a job & most of the colour has faded over the years hidden by a load of dirt. Has anyone heard of a dye that can be added to acrylic sealant ? of am i just imagining things.
Thanks in advance

Nice one Ged, they can provide a colour to add to the sealant. The guy i spoke to was spot on & suggested that if the customer could live with it just to use a clear sealer but if it is really bad, as this one is in patches, just to use the coloured seal on the worst patches.
He does not recommend doing the whole area(in my case about 80m) as when the seal wears off the pic will look really bad.
He is sending me some info & i will let you know how it turns out if youre interested
Thanks again

Got the onfo from picseal but it came too late as i managed to convince the customer to go with the initial advise & use clear acrylic. I will hang on to the literature & may use them in the future as they seem pretty clued up in this area.
PS the job ended up ok inthe end & the customer was happy with the result.
