They should do the thread is the same size as any other

If you are on about the 60m plastic hozelock reel the gardiners sells, then NO it wont fit, I started off with that plastic reel and the female  kept popping off the male connector on the reel , it's an odd size on the hozelock

john, thanks for that, we have the same problem and we were hoping that a metal one like that would solve it

You can get the grey Hozelock fitting from some places but what a suprise - it's got a different sized thread to the rest of the cra* they sell so it looks as if you can't upgrade to a brass one.
