it all depends on the ro system you have. I have a ro-man system, and that puts out a little less than yours as I have no booster pump, but some out there have a 4040 and that can do 1000ltr in hours

i had a 300gpd ro and was getting only 500 litres a day. turned out i was sold the wrong booster pump. didn't realise until 2 months after. get on the phone to window cleaning warehouse 0800 0280 469, make sure you have the right one. i'm now getting 600 litres in less than 12 hours

Mains water pressure affects production rate too.

I think its recommended 60 p.s.i.

Also the 300gpd figure is in american gallons (whatever the difference is?) and under optimum conditions, ie water pressure, tempurature etc.[

i also have 300 gpd ro with booster. It can fill 220litre water butt in 4 1/2 hours. Something sounds wrong.
Your production is the same as mine when i didn't run a booster pump.

usa gallon - 3.7 L

uk gallon - 4.5 L

the RO's will be in US Gall per day

so you should get 1000 liters a day then, it does sound like the booster is not boosting enough.
