« on: July 31, 2007, 04:34:13 pm »

That's my limited experience with them as well. Slow to answer the phone but quick once you've spoken to someone. Worth the wait though.

Cheers guys,
just getting frustrated with ploughing through my di resin. Wondered if I should try elsewhere, but I'll stick with it.

Its well worth giving Andrew McCann at Purefreedom a ring about RO's.

I dont know what size RO you are looking for but they do them at real good prices and they work very well.

A 200GPD one is £139.99  delivered and a 300 GPD  (Which I have) is £179.00 delivered.

www.purefreedom.co.uk   Look under water purification.

That's very cheap. ro-man is £265 for 300 gpd.

RO Man has quoted me £185 inc vat & delivery for 2000gpd 4040 membrane, thats why I tried him but was doubting his reliability.

That would be the price just for the membrane. The £185.00 which isnt bad at all if its a good quality membrane which it should be if its from RO-Man.

There is no way that price is for a complete 4040 set up though.

Have you already got a 4040 RO system AJ?

Yes, I've been running it for 3 years. It is an excellent Ro for what I need (1500L a day). Its only just started to go. Lets hope the new menbrane lasts as long.
