is it really worth time
« on: October 06, 2004, 09:09:36 pm »
Had a call from a housing association asking for a quote, book the appointment, arrived no manger but took measurement of the communal areas as directed by the assistant, the manager arrived just as I was finishing.

Having a chat with her when are you looking for this to be done and last timed cleaned? Reply I’ve been here six years and they have never been cleaned I only called you in as my management need to set the next years budget April! >:(

I thank her for her time and went.

Question is it really worth my time quoting for this ??? They have six similar locations.

Len,

If they are putting the cost of a clean into next years budget, the cances are that a clean is intended - and now they know someone who will do the job within budget (if you don't put your prices up by then).

Housing association work can pay the bills. It is regulary and you can normally do it at your timeing so fit in on slow times. Most pay in monthly installments for work planned for the year so great cash flow.

Go for it
