Hi Luke,

We have the G-fit goosenecks made specially for us to our own IPO protected design!

The latest ones out in a couple of weeks will be even lighter and are completely made of aluminium. We will also be having a new design coming out to match our new Super-Lite brush, which will be even lighter again.

The new brush will be worlds apart from the Bentley.

That said I love working with the Bentley!! It's just so light and the bristles clean the glass so easily!!

A 40ft Super-Lite2 should start at about £380 in DIY form rising to about £420 as a complete kit.

DIY will be the basic pole set-up with end caps, holdall, our new top section/gooseneck, operating manual and lubricant spray. You can then spec it up with hose, brush, Velcro, adjustable end bung, insulation and extra section as you want.

This will allow for those that just want a pole to build on for themselves and also those that want the whole kit ready to go.

how does the insulation work? are these new superlites made from the same materials as the old mavers?

You could wrap the new top section round a lamp post.

The insulation is an add on to any section required. The material whilst being made of Carbon Fibre is completely different weave and make up to the Maver poles.

The Maver poles were great for ultimate lightness and rigidity but in continued use as a WFP they had their limits (although I am still on my original one from Feb 06). The new pole is much tougher and the first 5ft section is so stupidly tough that I have repeatedly beaten a gatepost with it with no discernible effect! it is made up from 4 different composite weaves and is very good.

So it didn't damage the gate post at all then?   ;D
