Hi all
I was asked to do 135 chairs in a indian restaurant. The usual cheapy, foam backed, bottom chairs.I didnt price the job or see it before hand (was passed by someone "reliable".
Anyway, got there ,did the usual spray, agitate, hwe with the hand tool ..but could tell a lot of the deep "stains"were in fact abrasion(could even tell before starting that there were small cotton strains on the chairs). The chairs were only 2 years old,but its a busy restaurant.
I did them till i was blue in the face, but no joy at all.I explained this to the manager, but he got quite indignant."you not clean, you not clean" etc.
I showed him how the water was running completely clean in the see-thru hand tool,he still wasnt convinced! aaaaarrrgggghhhhhh i thought.
I was lucky,i got paid i suppose, but i hate that nagging doubt of not having done a job right .Do you ever get that?I had literally done the best job to my ability and circumstances..but i wasnt happy with myself.
Any thoughts?
I know one thing,i will always look at a job beforehand before i commit myself!
Thanks for listening to my waffle. lol.
