It's not called the Black Panther, it's just the Panther range from Woodbridge, there is the Promount 15, 18, 20, 25 & 27, like Paul I have the 20 and after 1 year without any problems I am delighted with it, however with Dave Ingram on board I am sure he would come out & demonstrate the machine for you and tell you everything you need to know.

There is a t/m called 'The Black Stallion' from Chem-Tex.
Could this be what you mean?

Really  Mike ?
Have you ever actually bought a new truckmount ?.No I dind't think you ever did. And if so have you ever  put over 3000 hours in 2.5 years on them as I have done twice ?.
Or are you simply trying to have  a go at me yet again ?

Perhaps they are restyling the brand, Hydramaster have done that with the Boxxer perhaps a few little tweeks but more or less the same but it looks more 2007.

The one in the picture is the top of the range 27hp model ( twin wand).

BUT if you read the description he is actually selling the 15 hp model for the price quoted.( Basic starter model)

Woodbridge will sell it to you for about £5500 + vat.

With a warranty.

My mistake, it looked like it had got 2 x solution outlets.

Even so, not enough of a saving to make it worth importing one from the states. Plus if it breaks down you will have no back up at all.

For anyone thats interested this is how to work out your import costs.

First you need to phone customs on 01702 366077  .  From this number they can find out the amount of Customs duty and VAT that you will have to pay.

The amount of duty varies, depending on what the item is.

The customs duty is worked out on the TOTAL INVOICE PRICE - INCLUDING CARRIAGE AND DELIVERY.!

Then on top of this price you need to add VAT at 17.5%.

So,,,,,

Work out your total bill from USA supplier, including delivery costs and insurance.

Add 2.7% Customs duty ( may vary- phone to check)

Add 17.5% VAT

That will give you your total.
