Hi

I have a few conservatory to clean next week, What is the best way to clean dirty conservatory roofs. One conservatory roofs have not been clean for a good few years

I told them I will be using wfp to clean the roofs but I am worry it wont do a good job.

I very keen to do the job well as it a good earner

To do it the trad way I won't be able to reach all the conservatory roof glass.

What shall I do guys

ive started to do a few roof cleans lately i just put an old vican brush on and use plenty of water and they come up a treat if the customer has a hose use that aswell wile your brushing

Did one the other week which hadn't been cleaned for over 3 years.

I just gave it a good soak with pure water then went and sat in the van for 5 mins to have a fAg and a coffee whilst it soaked in.

The muck came off really easy and it didn't take that long at all.

You could always give it a spray with TFR and leave it for a couple of minutes,  then give it a scrub.

[quantum cleaning]

wet roof with customers water
spray on non caustic TFR
leave for five mins dont let it dry keep misting with water
scrub with brush
then rinse with customers water
then rinse with pure water only if its glass no need if its polycarb

we do 4 or 5 of these every week

How long does it take you to do a typical size and do you do gutters and all uPVC??

Make sure you use TFR it will save you ages,as said the non caustic one.Halfords don`t sell it but you can get it from car part outlets like lencos etc.

What would the average price for just the roof. ( No gutters)

I've done a couple now at £45 + £50 Quoted one the other day at £65 as it was 4 sided roof. Hasn't got back to me on this just wondering if I'm going too high with price.

The roof’s I’ve cleaned so far have taken around 1- 1 ½ hours. This is just the Roof. Polycarb/Glass, Finals and all the support/cross beams. If there’s a lot of build up in the gutters I would swill it away.

If the custy wanted a full Con Clean I would do the gutters inside and out and all the upvc frames, doors and glass.

The one I quoted for £65 (Roof Only) I estimated 1 ½ hrs to clean. I’m still trying to find a good workflow so I would imagine I will get quicker the more I do.
