did my first day finally as a window cleaner. used the wfp method and only managed 7 first cleans. all went well apart from one window not turned out good. was lucky enough for a local window cleaner to take me round for a day last week. forgot what name he goes under , but thanks glynn and kelly.
have took most of whats what from this forum and hope this is the start of something . only got 10 customers , but not bad i think in two days from leaflet dropping a small village.

Just look forward to the second cleans, you'll have chance for a couple of T-breaks and some lunch:)

Good luck

How long did it take you as a newbie to do one house on first clean.  I presumeyou did frames as well?

How many leaflets did you drop to get 10 customers??

Keep the updates coming as its really interesting for newbies

i am in the midlands. we dropped about 400 leaflets on Monday . There is someone else that does the village , but the ones i got were people who do not like the ladders on their lean-to roofs. the first cleans took me approx. 30 minutes a house as i am still fighting with my hoses and even though i practiced there was still a coupling that decided to leak on my first day and i got an air blockage on my first house that i was not sure how to clear , but in the end shaking it seemed to work.

i used to get air locks on my trolley system, if ya can suck the OUT pipe from the pump, it should clear it, what i used to do anyway

although, you pump should have a self prime, mine broke
