Should i take the plunge New
« on: September 22, 2004, 12:59:24 pm »
Hi All,

I've read a lot of posts about starting up a window cleaning business and yes this is another.
I currently work as a software developer and have been doing so for the last 7 years, but have now got to the stage where i don't want to do the 9.00 - 5.30 mon to fri job anymore (and answer to some chump of a director :-X). I earn quite good money presently and would struggle financially if i was to earn less than i do now.

What i need to know is:-
1) What could i earn realistically doing a 7-8 hour day?
2) What equipment would i need to tackle all sorts of residential property (ie town houses, conservatories etc)
3) Where is the best place to purchase all the necessary gear?
4) What sort of rates would anyone else charge for town houses and houses with conservatories?

Darren
