Did it once on a sunday afternoon many years ago and vowed I'd never do it again. It just felt so odd and I did feel exactly as you described, like I was intruding into my custies privacy. I suppose if I new a custy didn't mind and I was really strapped for cash I might consider it. But I've never needed to.

However I have no problems with working bank holidays if I need to. Even worked on new years day a couple of years back because bad weather coupled with the holiday period put me right behind. I was was supprised at the response I got. Thought there might be some funny comments, but no probs.

I did get put off one Good Friday a couple of years back as a custy had family visiting and they were devout Catholics. My custy was fine, it was the family that was offended. So she asked me to skip a month as I wasn't in the area the following day.

Once a month I work a Sunday, my sister lives in the middle of knowhere in a converted barn.
It has been converted into 4 houses, so I clean it once a month ( a freebee) and the other people who live there asked me to do theres . I told them as I only came to do my sisters I would do it on a Sunday or not at all . So I have ended up with the 4 in the barn , plus a farmhouse . All in all its worth me going now

I clean most Sundays. At the moment I am working full time, whilst trying to build a round up. I just explain my situation to the customers and they're fine with it. I have one that is religious, but under the cicumstances she would allow it if I needed to do hers on a Sunday, so far I haven't had to do hers on a Sunday.
The only request that I have had, is not to start too early. I just say ........... I never start before 8.00am on a Sunday................. you should see their faces. ;D ;D
Then  I tell them that I am joing and that I won't start before 10.00am. :)
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

i hate working sundays to because i think the customers dont like it but i reckon thats what the problem is us thinking what the customers are thinking without asking their opinion, they probably dont mind.you get coments like "oh are you working on a sunday?"and we automatically assume that they dont like it.

I do it sometimes but if I do, I won't start till after 10 am and I will finish by 4.  I do some commercial work at weekends too as they are non-residential anyway.  Often, my commercial work is better done at the weekend because I don't have to work around loads of parked cars.  I will take time out during the week sometimes too as I'm not really into working a 7 day week.

I've never even worked a saturday.

You'd have to be desperate surely.
You should make plenty of money in the week.

I've worked every Saturday for 11 years, excluding Xmas/new year.   From next weekend, i'll be working sundays too.  Sundays....just another day.

why would you have Satans mobile?   Did you steal it?
He is suppose to be the most evil thing in the universe!!
