thats what i think through and through, don't get me wrong i don't want to keep everyone up at night but if people don't see or hear you how do we get the cream on the top that is that extra booking.

I'd have to travel to the other side of the city if I wanted red diesel and that side is under water at the moment, I don't want a fuel dump at the house to store it! I guess that would be Lee's answer also.
I don't know the working out but diesel goes further than petrol even if it is the same price per litre but I don't know how long a litre of diesel will last in comparison to a litre of petrol?? so white diesel is still cheaper to run albeit not as cheap as red if you can get it.

Typically a diesel engine will use about 2/3 what a petrol engine uses or slightly less.
Red diesel is also the same a heating oil, as used in domestic heating boilers, but @ 51ppl and white diesel @95ppl there is a saving. But once you claim the vat back off white the gap narrows.

Being a TM user noise does matter esp to MY ears. So the quieter the better IMO.
