Price increase - or not? Your views please
« on: June 03, 2007, 10:09:17 am »
Thinking of putting many of my prices up.  What would you charge for this house?  I clean it trad (at the moment) -including wiping all round the frames and also including the upvc front door.
In addition to the photos shown, there are also 4 groundfloor windows to the sides of the house and a double glass-panelled side entrance door.
Thanks

Thanks D A.  Presently I only charge £8.00. Was thinking of putting it up to £10.00 for a fortnightly clean or £12.00 for a monthly. Thanks

I reckon on £12 just for the windows I can see so I suppose it must be £15 or £16 for all of it.  I see you are in Lancs though so maybe prices are a bit lower than in the southeast where I live.
How do you get to the window over the porch?  When I did trad I would use a pole with applicator/squeegee on.

As a householder I would be happier if you had a good reason; not my prices are lagging behind everyone else's.

I think £12 a month would be acceptable up from £8 if you could explain why in a way the customer found sympathetic.
Even if is common sense it is very easy to upset people.

In essex 9-12 just for the windows.  If your doing the frames every month then another 50% on top so that would be 13.50 - 18.00 every month.  Doing that lot trad is a lot of work for a tenner.
