Back pack for con roofs?
« on: May 27, 2007, 04:16:09 pm »
Hello boys and girls......Its a fantastic sunny day here.... 8) ;D.

Question: Am looking at back pack to help with me alongside trad work.

Most people on this site say a back pack is a good start.

How will a back pack fare on conservatory roofs and what is the water usage on an average size con.

PS: Only kidding on the sunshine!

Tosh

I do a large conservatory roof every month with my backpack and it uses about 15 litres; under one fill.

I use a low flow rate (setting two) to wash the roof, then up the setting to number 3 to rinse.

On some conservatories, I'll then blade off the water best I can with a squeegie on the end of my pole (Unger) and they come up great!
