Use towel for agitation. Used to use a tampico brush but with a towel you can see the dirt being removed and it also helps in the drying process.

Use tampico brush for agitation, but do know that a lot of people get excellent results from micro fiber mit.
Terry towel will only aid drying when used "after" extraction, also to set pile and will also show if there is any dirt left on the suite!

Black & Decker Scumbuster, a rechargable battery hand held device, also great for aggitating stairs when needed, not available now for purchase in UK unfortunately.

Trying to save you some money Dene, there is no magic aggitator! I would recommend all of the cheaper versions as a minitex (I have 1) is great but tiresom and takes sometimes longer and at £350 plus vat a good but expensive piece of kit when mostly a brush or towel will do.

Just type "scumbuster" in the search box.

Handy little gadget to have Paul.
I mainly use the blue stiff brush head for most jobs, ideal to use where you cannot get to with larger aggitation equipment, also great to use around house.

Local shop to me sells microfiber cloths with different textures for £1 each.
I use these as they are easy to squeeze out till they are only just moist.
