Does anybody have one of these yet and what do they think of it,there supposed to be pressure switch freindly.I have read that with these there is next to nothing that can go wrong and there is no need for a pressure switch.Essentially Pure also have an ECO 2 coming out soon that performs the same.

I have a Vari2 & a Vari3 coupled to !00psi pumps and they are the DB's

What does the vari3 do opposed to the vari2 chris,and have you had any pump problems prior to using them cheers Nigel.

To be honest I dont know the only visible difference is the numpty on the front , I only noticed it was a V3 when I knocked the button off the front and had to phone williamsons to get a new one (cause they asked for the serial no and version )

And no I have never had any pump problems at all, i have always had Vari's from the start

When I bought the vari3 I thought I was buying a V2 thats how it was labelled and i had been using it for 3 months before I realised that it was a V3

What make of pumps do you use chris.

2 x Sureflo 100 psi pumps although 1 is rated at 1gpm and the other is rated at 1.4gpm this one IMO is the better of the 2 (better flow rate)

I have 2 v3's as well. I brought them as v2's also.  Mine are plugged into 2 100psi flojet and it works really well.  I definitely recommend them.

Only really need power at about halfish.

Are you sure you guy's don't have the varistream 2.5 version, it changed from v2 to v2.5 when they changed the switch, and this was the only reason they upgraded to the 2.5.
I may be wrong but did not know they had a v3 out, unless its new stock and they have labeled it v3.

You by-pass and do away with the pressure switch, when you fit a varistream.

The pure freedom one, I believe will be a sealed unit, there is no way moister can penetrate the unit, but if any thing goes wrong with it, you have to send it back.

not sure about the 2.5 version but the V3 I have has a fixed circut board inside ie screw fixed to one position and not held in place by the retainer nut on the switch shaft

Thats the same as mine Chris, they had problems with the switch in the past and Just redesigned it, then labeled it v2.5, I think they may have labeled new stock v3 now then.

From reading this post I get the impression that you have two controllers and two pumps
sorry to sound thick but in both my vans i have one pump and one controller  and we don't have any problems with flow 
i have one set up on standard hose, and one on micro bore  both work well
just wondering why you have two of everything ?

And of course My partner prefers a higher flow rate than me

Most have two because if things break theres no down time,all you need to do is run off the other hose with other pump and flo cntl.

eco flow mark II  will be released middle june

it will work with all pumps and its intelligent style will mean it will take the pressure switch out of the equation, but there will be no need to disconnect the pressure switch as this will all be done internally, there will be no need to adjust any external setting. it will adjust according to length hose and what style pump it is fitted to, it will detect a dead end almost instantly and battery life remains longer for trolley users
