Dose anyone know how to get rid of angle marks I cleaned a carpet last week now customer complying about the angles mark i re cleaned the carpet and just used the wand from front to back ( not forward and backwards ) but I could get rid of them they drayed like this VVVVVVVVV

After you have cleaned a carpet you need to " dress" the pile.

Use a brush like this.

I remember when I first started I cleaned my own carpets nearly to destruction, and anybody else's who would let me near theirs and I asked some questions on here and other forums that must of looked silly to experienced cc's but its the best way to learn, Andy

Hi alireza,

Had a complaint like this when I first started because I hadn't re-set the pile after cleaning as mentioned by Chris R.

Some carpet types will have memory and stay in the position they're left in when they dry out, the only way to reverse this is unfortunately re-clean the carpet (not with cleaning solutions just hot water the same or higher temp. that you used with original clean). After this set pile with pile brush leaving carpet fibres as upright as possible so restore pile and aid drying.

After I went back to sort out this problem I have always set the pile on every job since (when needed). Nothing worse than working for free .

Vernon Purcell sometimes has pile brushes on ebay, which work out cheaper than the prochem ones.

i had a leaflet from craftex today, special offer on their brushes at the moment, 3 different brushes with ally handles £16.95 each, well worth getting one for the future

Thanks for comments I already re cleaned the carpet but even when I wash it it seems to become a pattern of the carpet the water was not that hot although I didn’t use any powder it was plain water I did try to brush it as well but it didn’t worked

i dont know the fibre of the carpet its seems noraml but very thin

Perhaps the water used first time round was hotter!

My advice would be pre-spray carpet with hot water, then rinse with very hot water to soften the fibres then re-align asap with pile brush as mentioned above. Do in small sections to ensure fibres are still warm, soft and supple.
