Havent got a porty my self but i think some guys use a ramp, ive also heard of people taking the motors out (if its modular) to bring the weight down while lifting on and off.

Hope this helps

aluminium ramps off ebay or make some out of ply with a edging strip.

I made a box out of ply and I just lean it back then lift it on to the box then lift it in to the van easy and I Have a ninja and that is heavy  it only cost a couple of quid to make and when not in use I store my chems in it.

My Rhino is of similar shape and size only heavier I believe, I just tilt backwards until I get the front wheels onto back of van then pull up with handle and push straight in, fairly easy really.
I used to lift straight up but decided against, as its flippin heavy and cant be doing your arms and back any good.

Also, make sure the machine is empty when u lift it. If you have more than a couple of pints of water left in the machine you'll find it impossible.
