Dave,

In order to post a picture, it has to be addressable via URL - ie. it must be on a web site.

If you have web space, you can upload the picture there, otherwise you could use one of the web-hosting services such as;

http://http//i.us/index3.php

Having up loaded the picture, use the 'insert image' icon above the edit window and insert the shortcut  between the [IMG] symbols.
