EPL Access = £350-ish for 8 hours. Carlisle branch is probably closest - 01228 527671.

Who ever you go with, make sure you ask for an operator with plenty of window cleaning experience. Nothing worse than getting a slow - up/down, left/right, in and out a bit operator.

I use these

http://www.a4access.com/

If you do use them ask for the operator who is a window cleaner as well

6th floor can be reached  with a pole , why not ask for someone to to give you a price to do the high work with there pole

you don`t just get a cherry picker with no experience or training and then hoist up a wfp hose... ???

that`s like saying just tie a rope round yourself and abseil...it`s easy.. :o :o

er no its not

a cherry picket is a doodle, you press the up button to go up, the down button the go down, and the side buttons to go from side to side, they give you all the training you need, and its only £150 a day i think, don't let steve put you off, they are easy, they wouldn't let you hire them out if they wernt,

and as for taking a pole up, how does that add any more skill?

your comparing using a piece of doddle machinery to abseiling, i don't think that was the best comparison

get in touch with your local platform hirer and tell them you intend using a trailing hose from the ground to the cage and watch them go pale

In THEORY  you are right, but in the practice it dont work, tried it Crap,
in a Cherry Picker the Cage (holding you sfely in!) is too high, you cant work the Pole and if you can it will only be a small Pole as you would have to hold the Pole outside of the cage, movement is too restricted, the only thing you can do is clean windows directly above yourself, very time consuming and really tough work. Ive done it!.
Also you need someone permanently on the ground watching your Hoses, the better not get entangled in the Lift!.
