We have hwe flatweave 3pce common reasonable quality cream background with cream/green/stripe (lpk) customer rings braiding has yellowed but only two foot the rest are perfert redone them but still same tryed acid rinse fingers crossed

What did you use to clean it, Chem and System?

We used Alltecs fabric prewash and then rinsed with ultimate master i have since gone over yellowing areas with hydrogen proxide and it has improved never experienced this before in 7 years and 300 plus suite cleans any one out there got reasons ans solutions simon

There is no British Standard for piping/braiding....many are not colour fast and some will bleed with water

could you 'paint' the braiding with a bleach solution? with an artist paintbrush you could treat the braiding without touching the fabric.

A good upholsterer could replace the damaged braiding.
But he may have to do other areas to match colour in.
I once ripped a cushion on one side and was able to just have that side recovered.
Looked fine, custy happy.
