I always give DPs prices so here goes ;)

1500 Full colour Business Cards £45.00 printed on 350gm satin
10,000 full colour A5 leaflets £169.00 printed on 130gm Gloss
20,000 Full colour A5 Leaflets printed 8ogm only £199.00 Order 20,000 and receive 5,000 Free
50,000 2 Colour Leaflets  A5 80gm £249.00

your A4 1 colour both sides is the same as 40000 a5 2 colour 1 side, so I'd say because you are getting them on more expensive pink paper the price you are is paying is about right.

Paul i'll also add.

i've been using A4 leaflets and they are a sod to deliver, even when i deliver them myself it is very hard to get them through the letter box with them getting screwed up.

I have mine deliverd with a paper so they are folded with the paper so get the through the letter box in one piece, if you are just getting the leaflet delivered I'd check on them so they are Ok.

expect a good leaflet but be aware that it you want top quality you need to pay top prices. DP are cheap but in honesty not top quality.

but for a carpet cleaning leaflet they are perfect.

Try these for price, at the moment A4 10,000 full colour  £77  :o :o.

http://www.printcarrier.com/index.php?lang=en

I have just binned my printer after 4 years after giving him loads of customers I found out last week that they were getting a better deal  :(.
20,000 A4 double sidded black on pink leaflets for £241,he was charging the others £215  ???.You can imagine how the phone call went  >:(

Mike
Like you I do A4, mine get delivered in local paper too.
When they were being posted solus they had to be folded in two then they used a wooden spatula to post them through the letter boxs,I think  because on or two of them got their fingers nipped by dogs  :-\.

Must say when I got mine delivered solus I did not get much of a better redemption than by putting in the free papers.

I have just agreed to pay £160 for 5,000 full colour glossy A5s (includes reliable distribution).

I think its reasonable as I'm a lazy git and dont want to do my own deliveries.

HI Paul

i have had some NCR carbon copy a4 sheets deon, 1000 quantity, (these are my quote forms) these come in pads of 50 , cost = £98 (top white copy is customer copy, bottom yellow is my copy) printed two sides as well

10.000 A6 Full colour postacrds £124

Ring peter at gp print, 01733 340 622  www.gp-print.co.uk

and ask for further details, he is a quality printer, and is now doing "print share". so basicallly if you club together with another business your costs are massivly cut, for instance: we just shared with 3 other business that peter has on his books and we all had full colour post cards 10.000 for £109 300gram gloss, (ask him for more details)The cost and quality is far superior to other print companies that i have used. (including ones mentioned on here)you'll find him refreshingly helpful and he will budge on price if he can! free design & pdf proof etc

i do hope this helps you out,as i know how frustrating it can be to find a good printer that will work with you, not against you, if you understand me!!! :)

John

Not that it's a problem, but have you any connection with the company other than a customer? It's just that you have heavily plugged them in all your recent posts.

i have no link at all apart from being a customer
yes i have heavily plugged them,
 two reasons

1) because i like to help small business , because i know how hard it can be, and if someone helps me i shall help them, nothing more than that!
2) because the more people doing a print share, then the more chance i have of "getting in" on a print share run, thus saving me money and eveyone else money

however, i shall get peter from gp print to post himself on the forum so he can address any issues you may have.

regards

john
