madeline mcann = i hope & pray for her safe return
« on: May 11, 2007, 08:32:54 pm »
I just wanted to say that i have just watched the church service on tv live from glasgow & i hope and pray for the safe return of madeline mcann in portugal.

I cannot put into words what the family of this little girl must be going through , it just doesnt bear thinking about, but as a parent like most of you reading this , i am saying a prayer at night that she can be found safe & well and returned to her family.

We think we have problems & get stressed with our day to day life ,well it just puts things into perspective.

My fingers are crossed and my prayers will be said before i go to bed tonight , for madeline & her family.

Yes I support those sentiments and hope for a swift return to her family.

I have utmost admiration for her parents/family to stay so positive.
I have four kids (one the same age as Maddy) and would be in pieces if anything like this happened.
I hope and believe she will be found alive and well.

i think everybody could say looking back after the event , we shouldnt leave our kids alone , but at some point it happens if only for a split second.

The facts are that there are too many do-gooders about , and if & when the person/persons responsible for abducting an innocent little girl like maddy are caught they should be given to the family & everyone who cares for her safe return to knock ten tonnes of poop out of them , i know thats what me & my family would do and i would expect the same from all of you reading this - i personally would kill anyone who harms my girls/son or any children , its so f----- sick & doesnt bear thinking about.

Sorry, But I agree with Nicho.
It seems to me that they put their own pleasure before the saftey of their children. What would they be saying now if there had been a fire in the appartments for example!!
better luck tommorow.......

in reply to a few of your comments , im absolutly  baffled as to think how the parents are "HEROS" and secondly how can you bring into the equation 30,000 ugandan children ?

The topic was started by myself saying that "i was praying for the safe return of a little 3 year old girl" & not pointing any blame whatsoever at the parents.

Rightly or wrongly , i am not here to judge , all i am interested as a parent is for the safe return of maddy.

As for thinking the parents are heroes that really is a load of b******s to come out with that !!! >:(

I ask you , if for whatever reason if something happened to one of my children & out my parental control = I WOULD DO EVERYTHING & ANYTHING TO GET MY KIDS BACK , & THAT WOULD NOT MAKE ME A HERO & I WOULDNT FOR ONE MINUTE THINK OF MYSELF BEING A HERO..

I JUST FIND THAT COMMENT VERY , VERY INAPPROPRIATE AT THIS TIME !
