I think this was one of the documents that was superceded by WAHR 2005.

Think you will find this more up to date http://www.bwca.co.uk/bwcamisc613.pdf

NOTE: ALL ladders MUST be secured.

No they don't. Under 6m in height only needs an anti slip device, what a surprise that link comes from a pole association , blah blah blah.

Stop banging on about ladders they will still be here for many many years to come!!
If you don't use them then they don't concern you.
Be more concerned about trailing hoses and excess water left on paths.
This forum is being taken over by the WFP brigade and all they see is WFP and nothing else.
There are a few guys on here that have never been trad and still make comments about the correct use of ladders when they havent got a clue.
I use Wfp and trad also and WFP is just a tool so get a life and move on.I have had customers saying that a WFP guy has been saying that ladders are banned and it's against the law to clean windows using ladders. WHAT A LOAD OF OLD S**T !!!!!!!!! Now who are the cowboys ?

I wouldn't use LSD if you're up a ladder.

Speed maybe... ;D
