hi all my brother has 3 new transits and 3 new LDV Maxus vans he reckons the Maxus gives the transit a run for its money. its a faster engine it's cheaper and the load bearing seems to be better than the transit. the only downside is that the interior is more plasticy (if thats a word). thats not to say the transits arn't good just an eye opener for you all. i like them both but the transit has been around the longest.
just thought i would share this info for an alternative
regards
Paul

anything before a 51 plate and they seem to be ok. after that and the problems start. DONT get an 06 on they seem to be a real problem

the new maxus is good for the money, they just have problems with the rear doors, and cos the paint is a little thinner so if they scratch they tend to rust a little quicker

Steve M your right mate i totally forgot about that but i still think its a alternative to the transit and best of all its cheaper. but if you do have a knock in it the insurance would pay for the repair.
