Start date
« on: April 28, 2007, 04:46:29 pm »
Hi everyone

I was wondering what you guys do when having quoted & won a new office cleaning contract, do you

a. Let the customer decide the start date even if logisticly it causes problems for your business. e.g. as soon as possible

b. Agree a start date which you know you have the resources/manpower to cover without stretching your finite resources/manpower.

I try to adhere to option b as much as possible

Regards

Hi
I would aim for B as this is probably the most suitable.  Most of my clients have given me a start date approximately 2 weeks after our meeting, this suits me as it gives me time to organise people properly.

Good luck with your new client.
