purchased the spraymate because I was sick of pumping,it as a 50 psi flojet pump. runs great the only draw back is the mist gets in the air and gets on your chest,iv'e starting to wear a mask when prespraying but find it abit of a pain.Just wondering if anyone as this problem with electric sprayers. I'm regretting forking out £280 now

Had one for a couple of years and never a problem.
Are you prespraying a solvent based chem? or you may be holding th.e wand too high, I spray about 12 inches above the ground and the spray never rises abov that height.

I get the same if I use Prochem fabric restorer as it has a percentage of solvent in it to remove greasy areas so you may find the same with Lift off.
I use a few different presrays M/S, Blitz, A Local company prespray powder and Traffic lane cleaner amongst others but the first 2 I use about 80% of the time.

Be carefull when using a fine spray or droplet size with solvents. I was off for a week recently because I inhaled solvent spray that was too fine. Won't be doing that again! (scary!) and very ill
I was using 1 liter sprayer and have now changed nozzles on all my small sprayers.

Not sure wearing a mask would look good in front of the customer, wouldn't she a bit alarmed at what you are spraying on her carpets/upholstery?

Yes Paul....I'v also put new filters in my mask (which I wasn't wearing at the time), you also have to think about the customers as well.
If I'm spraying solvent protector on a suit, I will ask the customer to be away from the room with the windows open etc, and explain why.

I have been applying fabric restorer with a sponge for a while now, can really get on your chest if applied with a sprayer!
I thought it was h&s requirement to carry a mask in the van if you carry/use solvent based chems?
