Last week you were openly promoting your own supply business and requesting people to buy from you.

On this thread, we have carpet cleaners informing one another of deals and offers they've come across. They do not stand to gain from this.

OK, there is only a subtle difference, but this is consistent with practice on most forums. If a CIU member had come on and recommended an offer from your company, I wouldn't have a problem with that unless it was a deliberate ploy to circumnavigate the code by which these forums work.

Some forums have specific, paid for sections where our industry's manufacturers and suppliers can openly promote their wares, but as far as I am aware, non are allowed to do so in the other classifications.

As soon as you guy's sort your selves out so the more experienced cleaners can join wit out doing a  basic 2 day course and test, then you will get more membership Im sure

So how else would we know how good you are Paul, or how much you know? Any individual could lie through their back teeth claiming this that or the other, and we wouldn't be able to prove otherwise.

The system we have isn't perfect, but, IMO, it's the best system we can offer for now. For the future, there will be even higher qualifications available for Members to progress through.

If you don't like the system we have, and you want to see it changed, then the most effective way is to join now and change what we have from within.

As you may have noticed from other CIU members recently, as well as the educational, prestige and support benefits etc. that they gain from NCCA Membership, they also gain financially, and are recouping their membership fees several times over
