Just wondering how to apply Prochem's Fluroseal protector?

The catalogue says to use a "Prochem carpet protector applicator" which sounds expensive...

Does anyone know what one of these is? Is there any alternative method?

Just seen the applicator in the catalogue and it's £255!

 

Is it possible to use a normal sprayer?

But rinse out and pump through with clean water after using any carpet / upholstery protector chems, or the seals will soon knacker up

the sprayer chris uses is fine i use it myself

The sprayer must be capable of 50psi, have Viton seals, an 8004 fan jet, be immaculately "clean" to avoid product contamination and preferably dedicated to protector. I would not advise anything smaller than 5 litres.

I use a dedicated electric multi spray from Ashbys. Its rated at 40psi (continuous) and takes the liquid from its original container. As said before sprayers must be rinsed through after use as the valves "stick" if left.

Bearing in mind the margin on stain protectors it is a worthwhile investment.

Never used the fluroseal product before. Can anyone scan in a fluroseal leaflet and email it to me?

I asked Prochem but they wanted to sell me 50, which ain't much good if I subsequently decide not to use the product!

In addition, what should I be looking to charge?
