I have just got a 22" Whirlaway from Merrill Fox, together with a 4-nozzle water broom. The water broom was US$30 which is about £16 at current exchange rates. (here about £40) The whole deal worked out as follows:

This side:
Import Duty         £ 9.63
VAT                      £64.10
Parcelforce fee    £13.50

Delivery took about  8 working days (inc. time for parcelforce to notify me by post that it was available to collect from nearby depot.)
I picked the 22" one as it has a brush-ring and detachable castors. It is a first class tool and I can recommend Merrill Fox for prompt and courteous replies to emails.
