Any suggestions on marketing microsplitters.

Many clients are concerned about the use of chemicals in their homes. The fresh water rinse is a good selling point but how can we explain how microsplitters work without getting too technical for the public and at the same time reassuring them re: safety and health?

The way I work is this, and it's best in a face to face situation. I explain firstly that microsplitters are made from food grade ingredients (I try to avoid the word "Chemicals"), and that this ingredient is frequently found in pre-packed meats such as bacon and boiled ham. I then proceed to explain that all detergents, whether Fairy Liquid, Flash, Persil or industrial detegents work principally by softening the soil. Different soils and surfaces require different detergents. When it's soft enough, the soil can be seperated from the fibre/surface. This explains why dirty pans, floors or carpets need a pre-soak, Micro splitters work on contact by attacking the bond between the soil and the fibre/surface. A pre-soak is not required, but brushing speeds the process along. The detached soil is then easily rinsed away with fresh tap water.

I know that the description above isn't 100% accurate but I feel it's close enough and easily understood by most. Whether they're interested about the details, except for the fresh water rinse, is another matter.
