Brodex - Prolong poles
« on: April 10, 2007, 04:25:41 pm »
Anyone using these poles from Brodex, if so what are they like?

They are made of Aluminium and claim to last longer than standard GF and CF poles and are of a similar weight.

I'm looking at the 25' pole for £239 +vat

i looked at the pole at the cleaning show and thought it was an excellent tool very stiff and yet light and hard wearing was tempted myself but of memory i think they wanted £300 for the 25ft one then which i thought was to much ,£239 sounds much better although still a little steep , if you do buy one make sure you ask how long they will be supplying spare parts for the pole as i bought a carbon fibre one of them and one year later they could not supply me with a new section i had to have a predator section fitted to it so their customer service has also put me off too.
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt
