I use normal hose and find it's ok. I wouldn't work across a main road tho, just a side street and most people slow down when they see the hose anyway.

With microbore being a bit lighter it may be a problem with it being dragged along the road a bit perhaps?

Same as that, never experienced any problems yet, just cone the areas of the footpaths the hoses are trailing across to avoid any pedestrian accidents!!

I have normal hose and do it all the time. A friend has microbore and says it's fine also.

Ha ha! That's what I'd do. ;D

I'd never put my hose across the street.
Not worth the risk. You never know what might happen.

I have done it on minor roads but I ALWAYS lay rubber matting over the hose in case it doesn't lay flat and gets caught on a car.

we run the hose across the road all the time - never any problems, microbore and minibore are reinforced anyway.
