Ro help
« on: April 03, 2007, 07:10:58 pm »
My RO-man 4040 arrived today its all plumbed in and so far I've had to put right 2 leaks I've now found another, worrying as its only showing an inlet pressure of 20 psi  ??? anyway it has a leak at the base of the membrane, is there an easy way of sorting it or should it be sent back, I'd really like to be able to sort it myself so I can produce asap.

You will need a booster pump,i have a similar RO and when the booster pump went i could have peed quicker than it was filling without one.

It is probably showing only 20psi because of the leak.

Yep thanks Alex I think that is the case, I just checked the pressure on my other gauge and it reads nearly 60 psi.
